Dr. Marie Roberts has invested much of her career in education with extensive experience in student services, programming, and technology. A believer in long-term student success and engaging course content, Roberts is a trusted voice for best practices and trends in education, training, and support.
Roberts is proud to serve as the Executive Director for Enrollment Management at East Central Community College (public, two-year, higher education) where she focuses on student-first initiatives and potential opportunities for growth, as well as the part-time Instructional Technologist for Lauderdale County School District (public, PreK-12) where she helps teachers do their hero thing, students showcase their awesomeness, and all around tries to make education a collaboration space of creativity and compassion.
She is a co-host of the Education Innovation and Technology podcast, an adjunct instructor for Delta State University, trainer and PD facilitator for the Mississippi Community College Board's Virtual Academy, leads professional development for educators and students, contributes to scholarly research, serves on several dissertation committees, and provides contractual services for all things education, innovation, and technology.
